Friday, March 6, 2026 – The Rattlers defeated Flower Mound 6-1 on Friday at Dripping Springs High School.

The Rattlers were the first to get on the board in the first when Flower Mound’s pitcher induced Dylan Sabariego to hit into a fielder’s choice, but two runs scored.

The Rattlers added two runs in the third after Bodie Weyman singled to right field.

Zach Hopkins earned the win for the Rattlers. The starter gave up four hits and one run over six and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking one. Evrick Paulino collected the save.

Caine Chapman, Will Van Wisse, Karsten Holman, and Weyman each collected one hit for the Rattlers. Sabariego, Van Wisse, and Weyman each drove in two runs. The Rattler defense turned one double play in the game.

The Rattlers will face off against Roosevelt on Tuesday, March 10 at 3:00 p.m. at Blossom Athletic Complex.
